This very rare late 30s dress set and matching hat represent an era when sportswear was still chic and feminine!  Lightweight, breathable cotton in a two tone brown.  The button down blouse has long sleeves, two button patch pockets, an attached neck tie, a Western-style back yoke, and contrasting celluloid buttons.  The semi-full, A-line skirt is gored and buttons down the front.  Original belt included.  The lightweight sun-cap mimics a tied scarf, but has a brim. This is a truly amazing original set!

  CONDITION: Overall very good - excellent. The skirt, shirt, and hat all show light, normal wear.  The only thing to note is the button at the waist is missing, but it was decorative (the waist closes with a hook-and-eye) and would have been hidden by the belt.  You can't tell at all when the skirt is worn and may have possibly been removed by the previous owner so the belt would fit better.
